Summer boating is getting underway! Yaquina Bay Yacht Club will celebrate Summer Sailstice on June 20, 2026 by taking members of the public out for free sailboat rides.
The clubhouse opens at 11:30 am for sailing signups. Rides depend on weather and tide conditions, so plans may change for safety.
Come support YBYC sailing programs as club members share their love of sailing and summer festivities with the community.

What to know.
Sign up at the YBYC clubhouse at 750 SE Bay Blvd. in Newport. Coast Guard-approved life jackets are required aboard the boats, and YBYC has loaner life jackets available.
